Day Retreats

On a Day Retreat, time opens up and slows down... we take a deep breath and pause.

We have time to explore all aspects of the Yoga, Meditation, Chakras and Rest Practices. My two atmospheric venues are here in stunning North Wales.

I love sharing the practices that have worked for me for the last 26 years, and the retreat experience evolves over time; no two retreats are ever the same!

Yoga & The Chakras

The seven main Chakras contain the seven aspects of our human experience so it makes sense that if one of them is out of balance, it affects the whole system.

We will use the practices of Yoga, Meditation, Mantra, Mudras to balance the seven main channels of energy in the subtle body – the Chakras.

June 14th & October 11th at Lima Gardens, near Betws-y-Coed

Music, Movement & Mantra

Siward Mullens will play live music for our morning yoga class, followed by an exploration of different ways to use mantra as a meditation practice. We will learn a simple mantra to practise at home.

We will finish the day with a Kirtan with ancient Sanskrit chants, songs and silences, inviting you to relax, centre, meditate and delve deeper into stillness.

Yoga Yoga Yoga

This Day Retreat is all about different styles of Yoga and understanding their benefits.

We will begin with a mat-based session of slow and steady grounding Hatha Yoga and then experience the deep rest of Yoga Nidra. 

In the afternoon, we will start standing and do some more dynamic Hatha Yoga and then settle in for a Restorative Yoga practice.

Rest Medicine

In a world where we carry being busy, exhausted and productive as badges of honour, it can be a challenge to give yourself permission to rest. Step into a space where rest and renewal are on the menu - guilt-free!

We will down-regulate the nervous system with slow and gentle Hatha & Restorative Yoga.

We will experience and understand the power of the deep resta nd re-set button that is the practice of Yoga Nidra.
